Japan Free n Easy Trip Day 8 (2/4/2008)

Ikebukuro > Hakone > Harajuku > Ikebukuro

After breakfast, we took the shinkansen to Odawara then buy a one day pass for Hakone where we can take the different type of transports with this pass. When we reach Hakone Yumoto, I saw my colleague, Sabrina, at the bus stop. The world is so small, can even see her in Japan. Haha. She is also going to Hakone. But we go on our own way when we reached Moto-Hakone-Ko. Nice scenery. Took quite a lot of lot of photos with Mt Fuji as the background.

We walked all the way to Hakone-Ko, passing by the Hakone pass. We took a ferry across Lake Ashi to Togendai where we have our lunch. We ate chicken and fried fish set. Quite nice. Got 10% discount due to the one day Hakone pass.

Then we take the cable car to Owakudani before going to 早云山. We change to tram here in order to go Gora. We plan to go to the Gora park as we have free entrance but after walking halfway we give up cause we have to climb the hill in order to reach the park.

After that, we went back to Owadara to catch the shinkansen to Shinagawa. As it is still early, we went to Harajuku to look for Ayumi's concert ticket. But the ticket that is available is very expensive. Out of my budget. So disappointed. Our dinner for the night is 无敌家 ramen. Oishii ne! Queue for half an hour to eat the ramen. But is the best ramen that I have eaten throughout my trip in Japan. Bought some cakes for supper. Yummy.
