Japan Free n Easy Trip Day 7 (1/4/2008)

Nagoya > Shinagawa > Ikebukuro

Today, we bought a 1 day train pass to travel around Nagoya. First destination of the day is Nagoya castle. On the way to the castle, we walked pass the sakura trees. Nice to take a stroll. The street is very quiet, not many people. In order to save money, we did not enter the castle. Just took some photos outside the castle and left. Haha. Then we went to Jusco and Nagoya Dome.

We had our lunch at 大须观音, ate ungai rice. The unagi is very crsipy and delicious. If got chance to go Nagoya again, will sure go back and eat.





Next, we went to Italian village, it is a Italian theme shopping center. The design is quite similar to Venice and Florence. Very strong wind here as it is next to the sea. On our way back, we walk past a park and there are some school boys practising for their concert band.

Last destination at Nagoya is the city of Nagoya. After taking some photos of the Oasis 21 and tower we went back to our hotel to collect our luggage. We will be going back to Tokyo.
