Hakata > Nagasaki > Hakata
We reached the train station at about 7.40am in order to catch the 8.00am train to Nagasaki (2nd city which suffer the atomic bomb attack). We went to visit the Peace park, followed by the Urakami Cathedral. Next we visit the Atomic Bomb Museum which shows videos of what happened during the atomic bomb attack. Really sad to see so many people suffer.
Then we walk to the Atomic Bomb Epicenter where we bought a flower shaped ice-cream (100 yen only) from a old friendly granny. Its lunch time so we went to the shinchi chinatown for our lunch. We had chanpon crispy noodles. Took the tram to another famous spot, Meganebashi, spectacle bridge to take some photos. We bought a box of castella there, which is a famous product of Nagasaki. However, I felt that the castella is too sweet.
After that, we went to a shopping street next to the Glover Garden and bought a bottle of yuzi honey there. Last of all, we visited Dejima wharf to take some pictures of the port. Very windy there but very nice scenery. We had crossiant and curry katsu bento for dinner. Yummy.
